30 day return window
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.
Eligibility for returns
Items must be in the same condition you received them. Unused, unassembled, unburned, with all parts, hardware, manuals, and original packaging or pallet. Proof of purchase required. Returns must have an RMA from us before you ship. Items sent back without an approved RMA will be refused.
How to start a return
Email tyler@lite-rite.com with your order number, photos of the item and packaging, and reason for return. If approved, we will send you a return label or freight instructions and packing guidelines.
Return shipping and fees
Customer pays return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect. Original outbound shipping, liftgate, residential delivery, and appointment fees are non refundable. A restocking fee may apply to cover inspection, repacking, and sanitation. Standard 10 percent if unopened in factory packaging. Up to 20 percent if packaging is opened or parts are missing. Opened, assembled, used, or burned grills are not eligible for return.
Freight delivery damage and shortages
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Note any visible damage or missing pieces on the carrier’s proof of delivery before signing. Take clear photos. Refuse the delivery if the grill is significantly damaged. Hidden damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box, pallet, internal packaging, and the damaged part. Claims reported after 48 hours may be denied by the carrier.
Damages and issues
Contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item so we can evaluate and make it right.
Exceptions and non returnable items
Used or burned grills and accessories. Custom or personalized items. Special orders. Clearance or final sale items. Fuel or hazardous materials. Installed parts or items that show signs of installation. Gift cards. Perishable goods and personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have for a refund once approved, then place a new order.
International orders
Duties, taxes, brokerage, and original shipping are not refundable. Customer is responsible for return shipping and any import or export fees.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order ships into the EU, you may cancel or return within 14 days for any reason. Item must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. You are responsible for return shipping. Damage or missing parts may reduce the refund.
Refunds
We will notify you when we receive and inspect your return. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days, less any non refundable shipping charges and applicable restocking fees. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, email tyler@lite-rite.com.
5 year limited warranty
Lite Rite grills include a 5 year limited warranty on the primary stainless steel body and firebox against manufacturing defects under normal residential use. Accessories, gaskets, hardware, thermometers, paint, finishes, and cosmetic components are covered for 1 year unless stated otherwise. Warranty does not cover normal wear, discoloration from heat or smoke, surface scratches, corrosion from corrosive environments, damage from improper assembly, misuse, neglect, modification, commercial use, unauthorized repairs, lack of maintenance, or damage during transport or moving. Proof of purchase and photos are required for claims. At our option we will repair, replace, or provide a reasonably equivalent part. Warranty remedies do not include incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary by state.
How to make a warranty claim
Email tyler@lite-rite.com with your order number, serial or model information, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the affected area. Do not continue using a product that appears unsafe.
Safety and compliance notes
For any return or warranty shipment, the product must be clean and free of ash, grease, or fuel. We may reject or dispose of unsafe returns at your expense if they pose a hazard to staff or carriers.
Abuse prevention
We reserve the right to deny a return or warranty claim if the item shows misuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation, or damage inconsistent with a manufacturing defect.
